Gotta Keep Walkin'

1.
There are times in life when struggles come our way, We start to get discouraged and our faith begins to sway. Then a quiet voice comes whispering, "You're never going to win," Oh you're listening to the loser again. CHORUS If you're living for the Lord, you're on the victory side, If the devil tells you different, then he's telling you a lie. He'd like to take you with him, 'cause he knows who's gonna win, Don't listen to the loser again. Now Satan is a liar, but one thing he says is true, This challenge that you're facing, is much too great for you. There's strength in your weakness, you know is not your own, You weren't meant to face this battle alone. CHORUS The victory has been won, the battle we must fight, Just stand firm in faith, 'cause God is on our side. CHORUS Don't listen to the loser again.

Yes, I Do 02:39
Tired of empty promises I knew were meant to break, Had enough half hearted tries and magnified mistakes. I thought I had reached my end, but I found out that's where you begin, Do I really want to be, all that you can make of me? CHORUS Yes, I do, want to make a new start, Giving Him my whole heart, no more delays. Yes, I do, want to have a close walk, Want to hear my Lord talking everyday. Do I want to be a faithful servant tried and true? Yes, I do. Oh, I do. Yes, I do. You know I do. I'm submitted, I'm committed fully to His call, No resisting, He's insisting that I give it all. There's no going back this time, do I want to cross the line? CHORUS

I've had more blessings than I deserve, the Lord's been gracious to me. He meets my needs without a word, His mercy flows abundantly. God knew the path that I must walk and alone I'd never get through. When I need a reminder of how good God has been, I just turn and look at you. CHORUS You are my treasure, you're all I'm dreaming of. I know that I've been blessed, cause God chose the very best, My greatest treasure is your love. I can't forget the moment we met, I knew it was love from the start. I'm glad you could see what God saw in me, And finally let me win your heart. Through all these years of laughter and tears, I know Love has carried us through, When I need a reminder of how good God has been, I just turn and look at you. CHORUS I've never been one of the wealthy or the privileged, But riches here just fade away. The best this world can give is nothing when compared, To what God gives me everyday. REPEAT CHORUS My greatest treasure is, my treasure is your love.

Sitting in the living room of my good friend's home, Sharing all the stories of the blessings we have known. Every one is different, but they prove without a doubt, That the God of love still loves us, and he loves to help us out. One friend tells of doctors that God has proven wrong, And there's a living testimony who should've been long gone. Another shares of hard times when the money had run out, 'Til an envelope without a note held just the right amount. CHORUS Miracles still happen everyday, They show up in the most amazing ways. If you choose to see life through the simple eyes of faith. Miracles still happen everyday. We may not see the dead rise up from the grave, But that doesn't mean that God's not working yet today. For the darkest heart, that's lost and dead in sin, With one touch from God, it will live again. CHORUS Miracles still happen ... everyday.

In His Name 03:55
John came to Jesus one day. He said, "Teacher, today we saw a man. He was casting out demons in Your name, The blasphemy was more than we could stand." "We told him that what he did was wrong, 'Cause he was not a part of your plan." Then Jesus sadly shook His head, He said, "How long until you understand." "Don't forbid the man to do the good, If the two of you don't look at things the same. If he is not against us he's our friend, And the mighty works he does are in my name." CHORUS In my name, you will see miracles, In my name, there's power to claim. I came to save the world, and all sinners are the same. So now together you can stand, united in my name. You'd think in all this time that we'd agree, The glory goes to God and not to man, The differences between us fade away, When we reach out to touch His holy hand. CHORUS 2 In His name, we will see miracles, In His name, there's power to claim. He came to save the world, and all sinners are the same. So now together we can stand, united in His name. CHORUS 2 In His Name.

I grew up believing in a God who answers prayer, Anyone can call on Him, anytime or anywhere. So when I hit bottom, and fell down on my knees, I couldn't understand why God wouldn't listen to me. CHORUS I prayed for healing, Lord, take this pain away, I prayed for riches, look at these bills I've got to pay. I prayed for mercy, I can't take this pace, He heard my prayer, then God gave grace. I've learned my lesson, God hears every prayer, But He may not answer in a way I think is fair. He sees the picture, I could never see, He'll always gives all the strength that I need. CHORUS His grace is sufficient, I've heard that before, It was spoken to Paul, from the heart of the Lord. Now I've discovered, that promise is true, Every day that I live, only grace gets me thru. CHORUS God heard my prayer, then He gave... Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now I'm found, Blind but now I see. God heard my prayer, then He gave, God gave grace.

CHORUS I'm walking the walk, me and Jesus side by side. Following the steps of the Father with the Spirit as my guide. It's true sometimes I stumble, but one fact can't be denied, Day by day and step by step I'm walking the walk. I can't say this life has been a stroll down shady lane, I've had my share of problems, perplexity and pain. But even when I'm struggling blind and lost without a clue, My Savior stands beside me and He always pulls me thru. CHORUS In my heart I'd like to be a hero of the faith, Somedays it seems that baby steps are all that I can take, I focus on the Father, and I follow where He leads, My faithful friend says to the end, He'll always walk with me, you see... CHORUS Gotta keep walking, gotta walk on, gotta keep, Gotta keep walking the walk. CHORUS Day by day, step by step, Day by day and step by step I'm walking. I've gotta keep walking, I'm walking the walk.

So many times I often find I struggle with decisions, I don't know which path is best for me. So I begin to worry, then someone will ask that question, The one that always brings me to my knees. CHORUS Have you prayed, have you asked the One who knows what's best? Have you prayed, have you knelt before His throne with your request? When your path is hid in darkness, and you cannot find your way, It's time to ask the question, have you prayed? I see you smile, but all the while, I know your heart is hurting, And friend I know just what you're going thru. Doubts and dread, fill your head, and your future is uncertain, Hope is gone, now what can you do? CHORUS Why do we refuse to see, until things fall apart, A final try, one humble cry, is where we need to start. When your path is hid in darkness, and you cannot find your way, It's time to ask the question, have you prayed? God knows your heart, (He's waiting), have you prayed?

Noah and his family marooned in the ark, it had rained now for 39 days. He wondered if they'd live and die in the dark, the light seemed so far away. Noah kept watching the sky, he'd answer when his kids asked why. CHORUS I'm waiting to see the sun, To know this storm's over and a new day's begun. These times aren't forever and the light must soon come, Waiting to see the sun. Just like old Noah, I'm wandering at sea, in a world that's drowning in sin. Dark clouds are gathering and it's plain to see, this world is nearing an end. I'll watch till I see at last, clouds torn by that trumpet blast. CHORUS 2 I'm waiting to see the Son, To know this storm's over and a new day's begun. These times aren't forever and the light must soon come, So I'm waiting to see the Son. CHORUS 2 I'm waiting to see the Son, waiting to see the Son.

First Love 03:36
Growing up in a small town, her daddy laid the law down, You could often find her sitting in a pew. Sunday school was the best time, she'd hang on each line, As Mrs. Johnson made those old stories seem new. So each weekend she'd meet her best friend, And she felt Him close beside her, though He lived in the past. Then one Sunday morn, in her heart true love was born, and she knew that her first love would last. Later on in her teens, she dreamed the same dreams, That every bright eyed girl has one time had. She'd find Mr. Right, and love him all her life, The years filled with good times, never bad. Her white knight rode in, then rode back out again, And it seemed that his forever was over much too fast. She picks up the pieces, she remembers Jesus, And she's glad that her first love will last. CHORUS She sings Jesus loves me and she knows that it it true, Some times that is the only thing that helps her make it through. She lives each day now, and hangs on somehow, Not worrying about the future or the past. She longs for someone, but if he never comes That's O.K., her first love will last.
11.
My Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine; For Thee all the follies of sin I resign; My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou; If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, 'tis now. I love Thee because Thou hast first loved me, And purchased my pardon on Calvary's tree; I love Thee for wearing the thorns on Thy brow; If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.

He was just a common carpenter, grew up the small town way, He loved His mama, and He learned His father's trade. Thirty years He practiced, until He was the best, By any earthly standard a success. One day He closed the shop, said I have to go away, The whole world is waiting and I just cannot stay. Friends said, "He's finished," as they shook their heads and frowned, And watched Him slowly walk out of the town, But the work had just begun, when He laid His hammer down. CHORUS God works in many ways that we don't understand, We can see only part, but He sees His master plan. And the path He chose seems a crazy way to wear a crown, But the work had just begun, when He laid His hammer down. He was a just a common soldier, following commands, Proudly served his country, the greatest power in the land. He didn't choose who lived or died, went free or went to jail, But he was ready with his hammer and his nails. They brought the weary carpenter, beaten, bruised and scarred, He'd preached the word of love to a land whose heart was hard. His message made a difference, there was turmoil in the town, So the soldier laid his tools out on the ground. But the work had just begun, when he laid his hammer down. CHORUS 2 God works in many ways that we don't understand, We can see only part, but He sees His master plan. And the path He chose seems a crazy way to wear a crown, But the work had just begun, when God sacrificed His son, My salvation had begun, when He laid His hammer down.
